On March the 26th, five students from BAT/IB1 and BAT/IB2 went to the European Youth Debate Competition in Tarragona. A total of 80 students between 16 and 19 years old participated in this event which has been promoted by EPCA and PlasticsEurope to promote the importance of science, technology, sustainability and diversity.
They were competing to qualify for the European finals in Berlin. One student from our school, Tomás Pérez Stoppa, was awarded as the best speaker and will travel to the capital of Germany, for the finals, to demonstrate his talent this October. We wish him the best of luck in this amazing experience.
Tomás was interviewed on Tarragona Ràdio. You can read the interview on this link: https://www.tarragonaradio.cat/contingut/4a_edicio_de_les__competicions_europees_de_debat_per_a_joves_organitzades_per_plasticseurope/18104
