Pedagogical and cultural talks

Next week the EIC will open the “EIC Online Forum”, a cycle of pedagogical and cultural talks aimed at the school staff, families, ex-students and older students in the school. The talks will take place online and from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. They will have a flexible format and the specialist speakers will introduce the main topic to lead to a debate. The moderators will be from the school's management team or even former students from the school and the talks will run in any of the three official languages of the school: Catalan, Spanish or English.

The first of these talks is scheduled for Monday January 18th, and is entitled "The birth of online education and its present and future." The speakers will be Gabriel Ferraté, President of FEIC, ideologist of Socrates Educa and founder of the UOC, and Xavier Prats, patron of FEIC and former Director General of Health and Food Safety and also Education and Culture at the European Commission.

Our intention is to create an opportunity for all of our community at a time when face-to-face contact has been drastically reduced by the Covid-19 protocols, and to make the most of the opportunities that new technologies provide.
